Bookmark Search

If enabled by your Library, a Bookmark Search function will be available in the header area of WebOPAC to enable searching of social bookmarks entered by Members. As the social bookmark tags can be entered as single or multiple words, this also applies to the way search terms can be entered. However you cannot enter words from different tags as the search functions works on a single Tag basis. Truncation is possible by entering an asterisk * at the end of the term.

Search results are amalgamated by URL. Comments and Related Tags are combined to form a single result. Related Tags will also display in the search results, and you can then click on any of the related tags to run a bookmark search for that tag. Any comments entered at the time of adding the Bookmark are also included in the results list, along with the number of Times bookmarked, the number of times used, and all Tags entered on the Title.
