Riassunto This editorial focuses on the articles in this issue of Teachers and Teaching: Theory and Practice. Consistent with the institutional narratives of Teachers and Teaching: Theory and Practice (TTTP) and the International Study Association on Teachers and Teaching (ISATT) (TTTP’s sponsor organization), this TTTP issue, Issue 23(3), presents an array of international papers from Australia, Belgium, China (Hong Kong), Norway, Turkey and the USA. As readers read these international contributions, they will encounter both major and minor themes that bind the articles together. Whether the contributions discuss pre-service, in-service or higher education, one overarching theme is evident in the seven papers: support. As overviews of each of the articles are shared, this major theme as well as other minor themes will be discussed. Furthermore, the issue follows the career continuum – beginning with support in pre-service education and moving on to support available to beginning and experienced teachers. The issue ends with provocative research having to do with teacher quality in higher education.
